Do I need to register my new Burton bag?

Yes, we strongly encourage you to register your Burton bag as well as save a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase.

What type of warranty does Burton provide?

Burton provides a full two-year warranty from the date of the original purchase. At our discretion, Burton will replace your product during the allotted warranty period due to failed parts or a manufacture defect. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, abuse, improper handling, repairs made by unauthorized persons, or failure of the product due to use other than its intended purpose. Nor does the warranty extend to normal wear and tear. Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim and warranty is only extended to the original owner.

What if I cannot find my original sales receipt?

Burton reserves the right to deny a warranty claim without proof of purchase.

Do I have to pay the shipping costs incurred when sending a damaged bag back to Burton?

For authorized warranty claims Burton will cover the cost of shipping on returned or replacement bags. For non-authorized warranty claims the customer is responsible for incurring the cost of shipping charges when sending the damages product back to Burton.

How long will it take for Customer Service to respond to my email?

Customer Service tries their best to respond to emails within 24 hours after receiving them. In certain situations, they may not be able to respond within 24 hours, but will get back to you as soon as possible.
